The Silicon Valley Center for International Trade Development (SVCITD) was established to assist small and medium-sized businesses to secure a niche in international markets. The Center provides training to all segments of the business community, from manufacturers and distributors to service providers. SVCITD serves the Silicon Valley and portions of Santa Cruz and Monterey counties. We work hand in hand with other International trade organizations, including the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U. S. Small Business Administration, local and regional Chambers of Commerce, Export Assistance Centers, Small Business Development Centers, and foreign, state and regional trade associations.
Our mission is to assist businesses in exploring and maximizing overseas opportunities. We are a team of skilled professionals working closely with local businesses and the community colleges to develop customized international training programs that help businesses enhance their skills to export and import globally. SVCITD programs are designed to provide a background and solid skills in international marketing, exporting and importing, financing, logistics and all aspects of export transactions.
Please register with SVCITD, and you will become a part of a regional community with access to trade consultants who will guide you through the entire trade cycle. Registration is free of charge. Once in the system, your company will have access to services including:
